[2] GARMENT MAKING PROCESS
[LOOK 1]

transferring of pattern markings:
Making up of the dress bodice, viscose rayon used and medium weight black interfacing was applied, along with a layer of tulle fabric on the base fabric. [front view]
I machine stitched all the skirt tulle panel using french seam for a neat and professional look.
the five layers of tulle was then held on the base skirt using a temporary tacking stitch which was then sewn onto the bodice all at once.
Finally, the dress was lined after making up the dress.
[LOOK 2]
Since it was my first time trying the two notch collar design, I was requested to try out a toile before I start working with my actual fabric.
For the toile I tried only half of the garment.
seams were press open throughout the mounting of the whole blazer for a more professional finish.
